The company that would eventually become PetDoors.com was incorporated in 1976. Since the beginning it was focused on selling all types of pet doors. In the 1970's and 80's that meant selling primarily Johnson and Pet-Eze via mail order catalog. In the 90's, Ideal and PetSafe began to blossom as did the rise of eCommerce. Since the turn of the century PetSafe and Ideal continue to do well, but they are now joined by Plexidor, Patio Pacific, Hale among others.
