Dr. K. Shantha Breast Cancer Foundation (SBCF) is a non-profit charity organization. It was under the leadership of its Patron, Dr. G. Viswanathan Speciality Hospitals, Trichy and her dedicated, enthusiastic executive committee comprising mostly medical professionals. SBCF works closely with the media to reach out to the masses by providing media representatives with information on breast cancer and programmes and services that are available to people affected by the disease as well as facilitating interviews with survivors.
